Non-Bookish News:

My break is coming to a close today. This begins the part of the school year that is TOUGH! Its back to the grindstone with only spring break on the horizon and its SO FAR OFF! Plus, this is a super busy time of year for IEP’s so I spend a lot more time at work for meetings.

My husband started his new job this week as well. So far, so good! Keeping my fingers crossed! We did enjoy his time off. We had a Star Wars movie marathon (IV, V, and VI) and a Pirates of the Caribbean marathon!

So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!

  1. Happy New Year!! It’s my first time joining the Sunday Post and I’m so excited! 😀
I’ve read the first book in the McGregor series by Karina Halle a view months back. I loved it. I definitely need to get my hands on a copy of ‘The Offer’.
Good luck with your week 😉

    • Karina Halle was a new discovery for me. I just grabbed her books in December. She has such an enjoyable writing style! Welcome to the Sunday Post!

  2. Happy Sunday (and New Year)! It is hard to go back after a break, that’s the only bad part about it. Break always goes so fast! Your movie marathons sound fun!

  3. Squeeeeeeee…. you have The Offer!!!! And I see you have Monica Murphy’s review coming up this week – so awesome!! I can’t wait for The Score to come out, too! Although I am currently buried under my TBR I really shouldn’t buy it but you know I WILL!!!

    Awesome post!!! Happy New Year

  4. Happy New Year! I hope this week, and the rest of the school-year, too, will be better than you anticipate. We don’t go back to school until next week, and we also have a week off in February before we also get 10 days of at the end of March. I’m getting ready for teaching as well as studying, so I get being busy before school even opens its doors again.
Your new books look fantastic, and so do the new releases. I’ve been drooling after Built for a while, and now it’s out.
Have a wonderful week and happy reading.

  5. I really need to watch Pirates of the Caribbean from the beginning again. I enjoyed the movies I did watch. Good luck with the semester! For me at work January 2nd to Memorial Day is the longest stretch because we have no paid holidays between there. 🙁 I feel your pain!
