Non-Bookish News:

Work was a STRUGGLE this week! So much to be done and just not enough time to do it in! My students struggled to get back into school mode as well so we were all miserable and a bit cranky. But, we survived! How much longer until Spring Break??

I did okay this week tracking my food and I even got up early to work out 3 days this week. I promised myself I will stick with it this time! My size 12 pants are uncomfortably tight and I refuse to buy bigger pants! Did y’all promise to lose weight this year? What works for you? (I’m using MyFitnessPal to track everything).

So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!

  1. School starts again tomorrow, here, and I hope both my students and I will do OK… It’s always hard to get back into the swing of things after a long vacation. Hopefully, I’ll find some fun things to do on top of all of the actual learning / teaching we have to d.
Your new books look great this week, and I hope you’ll enjoy them all. I’m really looking forward to Cole’s next book.
Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading.

    • Yes, getting back into that routine is challenging for everyone! I’m glad my kids made it as easy as possible but it was still a struggle for all of us!

    • Yes, so many good books gives me even more of a reason to hibernate! Sadly, I don’t think we will get any snow days this year because of the El Nino weather pattern. Nothing better than reading on a snow day!

  2. I plan to lose weight, but that’s always a goal. Sadly, my injuries have sidelined me a bit from working out, but I’m planning to get back into the swing of things very soon. I use Lose It! I’ve found success with it in the past, and just went back to using it today. I love Lip Sync Battle! It makes my week. So much fun! Tatum v Tatum is probably the best episode yet. I laughed so hard, I cried.

  3. Sorry to hear work was a bit of a struggle this past week, but hopefully it’ll get better as everyone settles back in.

I haven’t read any of the same books, but was interested to see you’ve found your favourite book ever! Keen to hear more about it!

  4. This definitely was a busy first week for me to. I hope it will slow down again soon. I’m still hoping that it’s just the whole getting- into- the- new- year vibe that makes this past week so crazy.
I also saw a video about the Tatum v Tatum Lip Sync Battle.. Loved it. LOL!! Really Awesome. Too bad it isn’t shown on television here.. I would have loved to see the whole show.
You’ve got some great looking new books.. Enjoy your reading and I hope school will be better this week! 😉
