As the snow falls, her touch sets him aflame...
"I don't want you to leave."
Texas billionaire Chase Ferguson has one regret: leaving Miriam Andrix to protect her from his public life. When a snowstorm strands her in his mountain mansion, their passion reignites, and it's too hot to resist! But reality--and scandal--arrives with the thaw. Chase turned his back on happiness once. Will he fight for what he truly wants this time?

A Snowbound Scandal is a second chance, opposites attract romance with lots of heat even though its a snowy setting. Chase is political and knows that Mimi would hate the spotlight that comes with politics. So, he cuts her loose. God save us from men who think they know whats best for women….

As you can imagine, Chase regrets this. Also, as I’m sure you can imagine, Mimi isn’t exactly willing to trust him easily again. My heart hurt for Mimi. She really was willing to accept his life and be by his side but he took that chance from her. Now its 10 years later and Mimi is a bit jaded from the experience (and rightfully so!) and she and Chase are snowed in together. Chase did grovel well though so that helped and he really did regret his decision (it took him 10 years to grow up and man up). But, honestly, I still struggled with Chase. Maybe I was holding a grudge longer than Mimi?! Maybe I was just so protective of Mimi I wasn’t willing to risk Chase hurting her again? Who knows!

For fans of second chances, opposites attract, and stranded together romance, A Snowbound Scandal is a great read to get you ready for winter! Its pretty short, full of heart, and enjoyable throughout!

  1. I’ve been looking at these books but I don’t read a lot of Harlequin category romances because they’re too short and always leave me wanting more. I think I’m going to have to re-think that. This sounds like a great book to read before it starts to get really cold here. Great review, Sam!
