A timeless love story with bite.

It was a night like any other for funeral home director Ginny Lynn, until the exceptionally handsome—and unfortunately deceased—young man on her embalming table sat up, opened his emerald eyes and changed the course of her life
forever, making her feel quite fluttery while he was at it.

Humans aren’t supposed to know Jonas Cantrell, or any vampire, exists. It’s kind of a major rule. Despite his instantaneous bond with perfectly peculiar Ginny, he has no choice but to erase her memories of their one and only meeting.

That was the plan. Before a reluctant Jonas can wipe Ginny’s mind clean, she reveals a secret that brings their worlds crashing together. Human and vampire. Past and present. Darkness and light. And while their love is strictly forbidden, it might be the
only thing that can save them…

Reborn Yesterday is a standalone novel.

Tessa Bailey writes PNR! I jumped on Reborn Yesterday because I love Tessa’s books. PNR was an absolute bonus. But I started reading and discovered its vampires and I died of sheer happiness!

Ginny is an isolate young woman running her family’s funeral home. Jonas is a body in the morgue that changes her life. You get a bit of the fated mates thing here as both Ginny and Jonas are inexplicably drawn to each other. Personally, I LOVE THAT! Jonas tries very hard to fight it because he knows being around her could lead to her death. However, when someone is trying to kill her anyway, he decides she is safer with him than without. I loved the uniqueness of this villain!

Ginny is adorably quirky and at the same time heartbreaking. Her life is incredibly challenged-she is a social pariah due to her job, her beloved father passed away, her family business is barely keeping her and her stepmother afloat. You really want to reach out and hug her. She loves old movies, cares about others, and has a love for making her own dresses.

Jonas’ life is much darker. He helps newly turned vampires adjust to their new reality. He has 2 interesting roommates, and until Ginny find him in the morgue, he life was pretty monotonous. He certainly has the brooding bad boy vibe down.

Reborn Yesterday will be a sure hit for fans of Tessa Bailey and I think it will draw some new readers her way with this PNR! Reborn Yesterday was giving me the Twilight vibes in all the best ways! Twilight was what got me back into reading. Bailey writes a great story full of danger, desire, and drama! I’m looking forward to more of the Phenomenal Fate series!

About Tessa Bailey

Tessa Bailey is originally from Carlsbad, California. The day after high school graduation, she packed her yearbook, ripped jeans and laptop, driving cross-country to New York City in under four days.

Her most valuable life experiences were learned thereafter while waitressing at K-Dees, a Manhattan pub owned by her uncle. Inside those four walls, she met her husband, best friend and discovered the magic of classic rock, managing to put herself through Kingsborough Community College and the English program at Pace University at the same time. Several stunted attempts to enter the work force as a journalist followed, but romance writing continued to demand her attention.

She now lives in Long Island, New York with her husband of nine years and four-year-old daughter. Although she is severely sleep-deprived, she is incredibly happy to be living her dream of writing about people falling in love.
