Samantha is a really relatable character for me, and I think, for a lot of girls who have struggled with body image. How many times have I allowed people to walk all over me just to get their attention? So, as I am reading and yelling at Samantha to just say no, I am thinking of all the times I would have done the same thing! Your heart breaks for her, then you are so angry with her you want to reach into the book and shake her. Then there is the wonderful Ellie. She swoops in and provides life lessons, a place to live, and true friendship. She is the good to balance out the awfulness that is Roni and Cam!
And FYI-Samantha has the best name ever 😉

At times, the book felt redundant to me (I get it, Sam loves Cam, Cam says she is his anchor, etc but I don’t need a million different examples of it). It made the book kind of drag for me. And I seriously hated Cam. Like, with a passion. So, I wanted her to move on from him much sooner. But, thats really just me personally because I connected so much with Samantha

I was born and raised in Northeastern, Pennsylvania where I still live today with my husband and three beautiful children. Like everyone, I have had my ups and downs and have seen my life take a complete change. Previously, I was a working mom putting in 60 hours a week as a Financial Advisor but with the sudden loss of my mom who was my best friend I found myself giving up the suits and meetings for jeans and snack time. I have always had the passion for reading and found an escape through the words of all the talented authors I have read. My passion allowed me the opportunity to blog and to get a wonderful insight into the indie world. I have enormous pride and stay true to the characters and their stories as they reveal themselves to me. I am so excited to have this opportunity to share my stories and hope you love them as much as I do.
