Izzy has always loved the freedom and adventure of life on the road, but she’s recently decided to settle down—as much as a rogue wolf can. When her boyfriend gets her a job working at a hot Shifter bar, she runs into the last person on earth she expected to see again.
Jericho isn’t the famous rock star he once was, though he still plays in a local band and loves to party. Beautiful women come and go, but music is his only passion—until a sassy redhead named Isabelle Monroe shows up unexpectedly.
Fate reunites two former friends living with one foot in the present and the other in the past. But will they have a future when one of them is forced to choose between life and death? Old habits die hard, and sometimes the toughest addictions to shake are the ones that control our hearts.
Destiny will find you.

I put off reading Five Weeks for awhile. I LOVED Seven Years. I mean, LOVED it! (check out my review here). I dove right into six months and didn’t love it…Like at all. Maybe it was the slight dom/sub issue, or the fact that I didn’t care for the characters (check out my full review of that book here). But, regardless, I didn’t pick up Five Weeks right away. MISTAKE! This book took me back to everything I loved about Seven Years. I thought I would hate Jericho as a main character but I didn’t. I wasn’t sure what to think of Izzy at first (I mean, Hawk was an a-hole so I couldn’t figure out why she was with him!), but eventually I understood and grew to really like her as well. I love that Jericho was all in with Izzy. He didn’t hesitate or waffle about it-he knew she was it for him and it made the book so much more enjoyable for me. And there is a good deal of suspense in this book too that made it awesome! I got about 50% through the book and something MAJOR was happening and I thought “Holy crap-this seems like something big that should happen at the end but I’m not even close to the end”-read it and you will know EXACTLY what I am talking about!

I was a little upset at the way the Cole brothers treated Izzy. I understood when they thought she left Jericho to die, but they find out pretty quickly that isn’t what happened yet the continue to shun her even though its clear Jericho loves her. I thought for sure Austin and Reno would be more understanding after what they have gone through for April and Lexi, but they really weren’t.
