My favorite type of book to read:
Obviously, Romance! I have started to read more in different genres, but this will always be my favorite type of book to read.
A character I want to be:
Eve Dallas! She is so kickass! And she has a husband she is totally in love with and who is totally in love with her. She has great friends (even though she sometimes wishes she didn’t).
This is my favorite trope:
Fated mates. I am such a sucker for fated mates. I think I have a thing for eternal devotion or something. I’m sure this says something about my own insecurities but I’m gonna ignore that!
And a series I hate:
Ok, there are MANY. But, I think the 2 that I hate and others ADORE and WORSHIP are Graceling by Kristin Cashore and The Sea of Tranquility by Katja Millay. I just didn’t like them at all. Oh, and number 3: Anna and the French Kiss. Hated that book…

Oh, my! I am Graceling fan, and though I enjoyed the Anna books, I do think the love for book one is overstated (I am Isla fan myself)
Okay, I haven’t seen The Sea of Tranquility mentioned in YEARS and now this is two days in a row that I’ve seen it talked about. Freaky! (For the record, I really loved it.) I haven’t read that many fated mate stories but I’ve liked the ones I’ve read. My favorite tropes are friends to lovers, age gap romance, and second chance romance. I’m a sucker for those. 🙂
I love Eve too. She’s probably in my top 10 characters. I haven’t read the series you hate lol!
