My Life in Books Tag

When I saw this on Rebel Mommy Book Blog I was in love and couldn’t wait to give it a go! Here is my attempt at this tag. Wanna join? Feel free to create your own and share the link in the comments!

Find a book for each of your initials:

I have been binging this series and I love it so much! So its kismet that the series has books that start with S, M, and C!

Count your age on the bookshelf. What book is there?

So, I haven’t read this one yet! Anyone know about it? Thoughts?

Pick a book set in your city:

I have been dying to start this series! I really like Karen Rose’s style and to have a romantic suspense set in my town of Cincinnati?! Yes!

Pick a book that represents a destination you would like to travel to:

So, I have always been fascinated with the Pacific NW. So Twilight or the Virtue Falls series both seem like places I want to see!

Pick a book that is your favorite color:

I adore the color pink. I especially love it combined with the color green!

Which book do you have the fondest memories of?

Well, first I have to say The Princess Bride! I read it when I was young and will always remember chatting with my dad and my BFF about that book! It was my first book/movie comparison as well (when I realized the books are SO much better!)

Which book did you find the most difficulty reading?

Ugh, every book assigned to me in HS! I love reading, but HS almost beat that love out of me. Jane Eyre? Horrible! Of Mice an Men? Ridiculous! The Great Gatsby? WTF. Grapes of Wrath? No. Just No.

Which book on your TBR will give you the biggest sense of accomplishment?

I’m not really sure I have one. I mean, I read for pleasure and typically avoid anything that would make me feel accomplished after finishing it. Shallow? Yeah, it kind of is. But, I’m okay with that!

  1. You have such a great book tag here and so fun seeing your answers. I just love the Psy Changeling series, so dang good.

I actually like Jane Eyre, I read it when I was like 13 and enjoyed it. Sorry to hear you struggled with it since its one of the few classics I can actually read. hehe

I also loved your showcase of pink covers…Pink is such a great color for romance, I love it. Which is obvious from the color of my blog hehe

  2. This is a fun tag, I might have to steal it (although I suspect finding a book set in my city might be a challenge!) I’ve only read Slave to Sensation and Twilight out of all these.

School reading was the worst, I sometimes wondered if they wanted us to hate it on purpose 🙁 although I must admit, we had one fabulous book when I was in year 10, I still have my copy all these years later!
