Firefighter Jackson Hart is back in Brooklyn and on the hunt for the girl who’s kept him burning for ten long years. The girl he left, in a total prick move, without saying goodbye. Now he’s determined to make it right, to hell with her three-date rule.
But Becca’s not ready to forgive and forget. In fact, she seems determined to stoke his fire every chance she gets. She wants to avoid sexy distractions like him? Fine. Because what she doesn’t know—yet—is that Jax isn’t the kind of man to give up when he wants something. And he always gets what he wants.

I am a sucker for Entangled Brazen. I just gobble up these books. If you want hot romance that is usually a quick read, these are perfect. They aren’t deep, meaningful books with complex characters and a life lesson. They are what I like to call “beach reads” and Seducing the Fireman is no exception!
Seducing the Fireman is a second chance story. Jax and Becca were suppose to go on a date once upon a time. He stood her up. Fast forward 10 years and he totally wants her back; she, obviously, does not care what he wants! In those 10 years, both of them have grown up, and over time, Becca’s heart starts to warm for Jax. There is some angst from his profession as a fireman and the inherent danger involved. There is also the angsty will they/won’t they but it wasn’t overly dramatic. I really liked Becca and Jax. Becca is seriously cold to Jax as the book starts; I mean, she is straight up bitchy! I loved that she wasn’t just going to melt into a puddle at his hot feet. She was also a little awkward and I love characters like that! I was loving Jax until about the last 15% or so. He does something epically stupid and really frustrating. I won’t spoil it, but he acts like an ass.
If you want a steamy read that won’t require you to over analyze characters and motives, Seducing the Fireman is perfect!

Jennifer Bonds writes sizzling contemporary romance with sassy heroines, sexy heroes, and a whole lot of mischief. When she’s not writing or wrangling toddlers, she can be found curled up with a good book and a bottle of wine. Jennifer lives in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, where her overactive imagination and weakness for reality TV keep life interesting. She’s lucky enough to live with her own real life hero, two adorable children, and a pair of rambunctious dogs. Loves Buffy, Mexican food, the Winchester brothers, and all things zombie. Sings off-key.

So he just randomly decides he wants her 10 years later? LOOL
I agree about Brazen books. They are fun when I’m in the mood for quick and sexy. I’ll admit lately though I haven’t really been feeling them. Now I want to know what Jax does that’s so stupid!
Great review, Samantha! 🙂
Brazen books can be so hit or miss for me!! Sometimes I love them and other times I roll my eyes so much I get a headache!
