Welcome to this week’s Sunday Post. This feature is brought to you by The Caffeinated Book Reviewer, so swing by after you are done here and get the full list of participants!

What I Reviewed:

What’s Coming Up:

  • Deep Dark by Laura Griffin
  • Sugar Daddy Sawyer Bennett
  • Duke of Sin by Elizabeth Hoyt

This Week’s New Releases:

What I Found Online:

This Week’s Book Haul:

Ok, so I snatched up all the Toni Anderson books while they were on sale! Each one is only 99 cents! And Beautiful Disaster is only $1.99!

I also had several ARC’s this week!
  • Bittersweet by Sarina Bowen
  • Cold Hearted by Toni Anderson
  • Crossing the Line by Audra North
  • Hard to Hold by Katie Rose
  • Love Thy Enemy by Katie Reus
  • Gone too Deep by Katie Ruggle

#CleanSweepARC Challenge: I have read 10 of my goal of 16. Pretty good considering the crazy busy month I have had. I might be able to get in a few more by the end of the month.

Non-Bookish News:

House News: We had a MAJOR setback with financing. Monday night I thought we were totally done and wouldn’t be approved. Tuesday brought some hope, and now we are in a waiting game. Hopefully I will know something by tomorrow. We were suppose to close on Friday, the 27th. Not sure THAT is going to happen!

This week coming up is the last week for students! They will have 2 days of exams the following week, but that is only partial days (they just come in for their exams, then leave) so if we can all survive next week, we will be in the clear. It has been touch and go-some of these kids have just plain lost their minds and have made some really poor choices. So, its been a challenging week and I don’t have much hope that next week will be better but if we can all just hold on for 5 days we will be okay!

I am so behind on my reading! Life has been a major pain in my ass and it has really cut into my reading time! Does that happen to any of you? What do you do when life takes up too much time?

So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!

  1. Ugh, sorry things are up and down on the house and finance front. It can be very stressful but you sound as if you’re feeling positive which is great.

Hope the next week passes quickly and your students make it through!

PS. LIke the look of Deep Dark!

  2. Ugh! Sorry your week was so stressful! Things around here have been maddening but I just try to take it one day at a time, it’s really all I can do. Yes I tend to find somedays I can’t find even a moment to read and other days I abandon life and just spend all day reading 🙂

I hope this week is better for you!

  3. So sorry about the waiting game for your house. It’s always something and sure requires patience. I can see how you’ve been to busy to get much reading done. Sounds like you grabbed a bunch of good ones when you find time:)

  4. I’m getting stressed from your house hunt – how annoying it must be for you guys!!! I can’t even imagine!! I am so sorry for all you’re going through. Hang in there! I’m sure school isn’t helping, either. Just hug your man… that should help!!

  5. Buying a house is so stressful. We literally went through this two years in a row, bought a house in Florida and then moved to Connecticut and bought another house. Fingers crossed things go more smooth for you going forward. Life tends to get in the way for me in reading, lately it has been this illness. Sometimes it is my job and/or kids. I am just so lucky to have this awesome hobby (reading and blogging) and it will still be there when I find the time. Good luck with your challenge.
Oh, and I LOVED that dog video. So funny!

    • I’m glad you liked the video! It made me giggle and I figure we can all use that! Thanks for the support about the house! Hopefully we will know something soon! I suck at waiting.
