Hello again! I hope everyone had a good week. The weather was nice here in SW Ohio. Work was fine. I took Tuesday off because my allergies were so bad. It seems to be really affecting my eyes this year. It was impacting my vision and I didn’t feel like driving the 45 min to work and staring at a computer screen all day.

We are in the home stretch of the school year. The kids last day is May 25th. I have to defend my portfolio/thesis on May 26! I’m super nervous, but lots of people will have gone before me, so my advisor is planning to give us some tips!

Otherwise, it was a low key week!

So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!

  1. I’m sorry you are having so much allergy troubles. You must be really counting down the days. It’s too bad you couldn’t have one day between the kid’s last day and your thesis defense. But I guess the holiday is right after and it will be great to have it all finished for the holiday. In my youth we wouldn’t have finished until May 31 even later if there were some snow days, and the band would march in a parade for Memorial Day, sometimes in black wool uniforms even though it might be pretty hot. Good luck with the last month.

  2. I can relate on the allergies. I’ve had to increase my daily allergy meds. And my husband finally underwent testing and is now getting weekly injections to help with his. It’s miserable. One month to go for school… the countdown is on!

  3. Looking forward to those reviews that you have coming up this week! I also got Resonance Surge and I can’t wait! i Hear we return to the BEARS haha

Hope you have a great week!

  4. I hope you’re having a good week. I don’t usually have allergy trouble but in the spring like this when I first mow the yard I beomce a MESS lol.
