Happy Super Bowl day! As a Cincinnati dweller, I want the Bengals to win. As a woman who watched them lose both Super Bowl games in the 80’s, I’m not holding my breath.

Also, Happy Valentine’s Day tomorrow!

This week was hard. Things are overwhelming. My job, my uni stuff…it is all just getting to be super overwhelming. Teaching is not a good profession right now with parents and administrators taking everything out on us. The state of Ohio is making it difficult to find an internship next year for me. I’m sleep deprived, stressed, and just beat down.

I did get some great book mail this week though, so I am trying to focus on the positive things I have happening. Hopefully I get more book mail next week! I think I’m gonna need it!

So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!

  1. I am so sorry to hear that its been such a strain on you. Hopefully things will improve. I wouldn’t want to be a teacher right now because they are being pulled from multiple directions.

    Happy Valentines Day!

  2. Maybe a miracle will happen and your team will win. My sister visited today and was talking about taking early retirement. She’s not sure she has 3 more years in her to teach. Hang in there! I hope everything works out with your internship. Keeping my fingers crossed for you. Glad the book mail helped a bit.

  3. I’m sorry it’s been a bad week for you. I hope things calm down at least a little for you soon and you can take sometime for yourself because otherwise you’re gonna burn out. Teaching is not a fun profession right now anywhere but everyone keeps hoping it’ll get better.
