Non-Bookish News:
Not gonna lie, I had a pretty stellar ARC acquisition this week! I’m super excited about all these books.
Other than the great ARCs, I was pretty low key this week. I ‘m continuing my ER binge and trying to enjoy the last bit of summer vacation. I start back with staff in service stuff on the 16th. I also watched a new series on Netflix called I am a Killer. I love documentaries about prison and true crime. I find them totally fascinating.
My vertigo came back with a vengeance this week! Its been a long time since I had this level of problems. I couldn’t sleep because closing my eyes was horrific. I know its due to my sinus infection. My ears are clogged and it totally caused my vertigo to flare. Hopefully it will go away soon. Being dizzy also leaves me with a terrible headache. So my nose is stuffy, my ears are clogged, I’m dizzy, and my head hurts. Ugh.

Vertigo is awful My MIL has meniere’s disease and the vertigo she deals with can be overwhelming. I hope your spirits lift and that you enjoy your new ARCS.

I have no idea how it’s August but it’s not right! 🙂 Where did summer go?? Sorry to hear about your vertigo! I hope it goes away soon. I was diagnosed with Meniere’s disease a few years ago when I as getting severe vertigo attacks (and I see Kimba mentioned her MIL has it) – luckily I haven’t had one in a while (knocks on wood). So I know how debilitating it can be. Hoping yours passes soon!

I used to have horrible Vetigo. Even wathcing some movies would have me almost falling off the couch or chair. Hopefully things will clear up for you soon. And then you can enjoy those fab ARCs!

You don’t have that much more vacation time left, I hope you’ll be able to squeeze in lots more ER, and some fantastic books before you have to go back to work. I have staff meetings all day on the 24th, and school starts again on the 27th, so I’m just behind you 😉
