eARCs thanks to the authors and publishers:

I went to my previous job to see my last students there graduate. It was bitter sweet for sure. I ADORED those kids, but I don’t miss teaching there. Honestly, just being back there for a couple of days was giving me anxiety. However, I wanted to be there for my kids and it was awesome to see how well they were doing. Several parents reached out to me while I was there to tell me how thankful they were their child had me for at least a couple years. It was an awesome feeling.

Life with a puppy continues. He is getting bigger and getting into more things. We have gates up everywhere.

I binge watched the TV show FBI. It was really good actually! Sadly, that binge was over in a week so now I need something else to watch.

I am in my last week of spring quarter classes so I have a LOT of school work this week! Then, a week break and summer quarter starts! But, summer is my last quarter with academic classes so yay me!!

So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!

  1. That guy is hilarious! Never thought about the exit row like that. Your pup is so cute!!! Love the picture. How exciting to almost be done with school. I give anyone going back a lot of credit. It was hard when I returned and I didn’t even have to work.

  2. I’m glad you got to see your kids graduate. I’m sorry that it gave you anxiety being back at your old job, though. I understand how that is. I used to go visit my old coworkers because I love them so much, but being back in that environment was just too hard so I stopped going. Anxiety is hard.

  3. oh that is so amazing that you had parents reach out to you. I respect all the work I know you put in, teachers just aren’t appreciated enough, but I get anxiety as I struggle with that as well. It looks like you got some great reads, hope you enjoy that MacLean.

  4. I’m sure your former students appreciated the effort you made to be present at their graduation. And what a cute puppy! My sister got a puppy a few months ago. She’s always adopted slightly older dogs. For a while I was getting almost daily updates about what he had eaten, chewed on, etc, ending with “I’ll be so glad when the puppy stage is over.” 😀

Enjoy your week and your school break!
