Well, it was a better week than last week-no one made a comment about my weight and I wasn’t late to a meeting. So, Yay! I’m setting the bar pretty low for good week. But, really, it was all just normal. Friday I just shut my office door and worked on paperwork. It was nice.
So, at the beginning of the week we had frost. Today, its going to be 78 degrees. Also, we are officially in a drought. It hasn’t rained in 26 days. Prior to that we had several weeks where our total rainfall was 0.07″ of rain. So, the river level is way down, and several small creek areas have dried up in places. They say we might get some rain on Wednesday-they don’t think it will be much (if any). And that is pretty much our only chance for rain for at least the next 10 days.
I finally watched Stranger Things. I really liked it! I’m not sure why I waited-sometimes I think when something is super popular, I just don’t get into it at all (Game of Thrones). Now, I’m doing a rewatch of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Also, James Marsters (Spike) narrates some audiobooks and they are GREAT! He is a great voice actor.
My weekend plans are petty much just resting and watching Buffy. With the weather being crazy, my allergies are just awful. Plus, working in a school in the week before Halloween is just not an experience anyone wants to do without lots of rest.

We had a drought this summer. One of the most severe in decades! Now that it’s fall we got the rain but the poor cows were suffering in the meadows and the deers went out of the woods to find some water closer to houses!
We only had rain this past Friday after drought 5 conditions (no rain since July 10). I hope you get some rain soon too! I’m sure the kids are excited for the Halloween week ahead! Have a good week.
It’s awesome that now you can go in your office and do you work in peace. When the hurricane was blowing through, we got days of rain. It was a very dry summer and spring though.
We are a couple hours from the Mississippi River and they keep showing us how low that thing is, but I don’t know how deep it’s supposed to be so I have nothing to compare it to. LOL

Great week you have had there! I can’t wait for your review of Archangel’s Resurrection. We definitely have some fabulous releases coming out, I am most excited for the Lisa Renee Jones and the Catherine Cowles. And yay for getting the Grace Draven, hope you have fun with that one.
Well hooray for a week where a parent didn’t feel within their rights to comment on your body/weight. What a win. (insert much sarcasm here) I know Stranger Things is super popular but I’ve never seen it. Then again, I’m not a TV watcher so I haven’t seen much of anything. lol
I’m glad it was a more normal week. Plenty of rest is always a good start / support for a good day.
