Non-Bookish News:
I’m sure many of you are experiencing the same weather, but its crazy hot here. 90’s with really high humidity has kept most people inside. There are have heat warning and air quality warnings every day. Its pretty miserable! At least we have AC! Even when I play fetch with the dogs, we play inside when its this hot.
Another low key week for me. One doctor appointment down, like 4 more to go (dentist, blood work, eye exam, etc). The summer of a teacher!
I hope all my fellow American’s have a safe 4th of July! While there has been terrible events occurring in our country I have hope that we will fight for a better future. The 4th of July serves as a reminder that we as a people are capable of fighting for what we believe is right and just.
So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!
I laughed out loud when I saw the title of this post, because I think EVERYONE is frying this week. So hot. Good luck with all the doctor’s appointments and I hope you have a safe and wonderful Independence Day.
It’s been hot here too, but we don’t have humidity so it’s nice being outside, even in the 90s. When we moved to Indiana, years ago, I had no clue exactly what humidity was and it was a rude awakening lol! I had never had to sleep with the AC on at night, the ocean breeze always cooled us down and now that we’ve moved back out west 12 years ago and live in the mountains the temperature drops significantly once the sunsets. It’s amazing how much the weather changes just from state to state. Hugs for heat and humidity and hopefully you all get a reprieve soon!!
Ohhh I forgot about Elle Casey’s newest series. I didn’t realize that it was KU, so I might start that sooner than later. I’m so thankful I saw your post and here’s wishing you a safe and happy 4th of July. 🙂
It is too hot!! We have mid 90’s right now and I’m over it. lol AC is such a lifesaver! The humidity is the worst.
Hope you have a great 4th of July!!
We have both the heat and the air quality alerts right now. I don’t leave home unless it’s a necessity. Needless to say I Hate Summer! Have a great week!
It’s pretty hot where we are too. I hope the weather balances out soon! Hope you have a lovely week!
It looks like you’ve had a great bookish week! I think everyone is melting everywhere. I hate the idea of even thinking about going outside. I don’t even want to let the dogs out to pee, because that means I have to open a door, lol.
L @ Do You Dog-ear?
Sounds like we have the same weather pattern. I probably wouldn’t spend much time in the yard if it weren’t for the pool. Stay cool:)
Idk how anyone without AC survives, seriously. I keep forgetting the 4th is coming up! I have to prepare myself for all the noise lol. Have a great week!
Happy Sunday. I hope your week goes well and you have a great 4th of July. We have had a few HOT days in the 80’s here in CA, but for the most part it’s stayed in the 70’s. Still I miss A/C. Enjoy your book haul.
We don’t have humidity, so it’s just really, really hot. I’ve been walking the dog in the dark, but it’s still hot. Enjoy your new books! Have a great week!
It seems to be so hot all over. I think I am ready for some fall temps now. I’m over summer hotness. Lol… Enjoy your new books and your week too.
Yep, same here. So hot and grateful for A/C. 🙂
Nice stack of books you read and got in your haul. The Darkest Warrior is my biggest ‘gotta’ have book this week.
Have a good 4th, Samantha!
