Most Anticipated books of 2017

If you are like me, your TBR is already WAY more than you will ever be able to read (please, tell me its not just me!). But, here are the books that will jump to the top of my TBR as soon as they release! PS: you can follow me on goodreads and check out my TBR!

Black and Green by CL Stone

Oh how I adore the Ghost Bird series. Each time a book comes out I dive right in. Also, I am obsessed with the audio versions. Only book 1 and 2 have been done, but its dual narration and amazing.

Royally Matched by Emma Chase

So, Chase’s books made it onto my best of 2016 list twice and I am making grabby hands for Royally Matched. Seriously, I need this book. NOW.

Devil in Spring by Lisa Kleypas

Nick (from Nick and Nereyda’s Infinite booklist) got me HOOKED on Lisa Kleypas so this is all her fault. I can’t wait to get Devil in Spring so I can get Pandora’s story.

The next book in the Eagle Elite Series by Rachel Van Dyken

I have reread and relistened to this series at least twice now. I am totally sucked into this world and these characters. I don’t even know when the next one will be released, but there has to be one in 2017, right!?

The next Fallen Crest book by Tijan

Another series that I am totally hooked on! I am not sure when the next one will release, but I can tell you I will drop everything else and read it!

All Closed Off by Cora Carmack

This book has been a long time coming. Carmack is a favorite author of mine, and she has had some health concerns that have delayed her books. So, I want this book, but more than that, I want Carmack to be healthy and happy so she can write many more books!

Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare

Lady Midnight totally left me hanging and I NEED the next book. What will happen between Emma and Julian? I need to know NOW!

The next books in the Sweets series and the Acts of Honor series by KC Lynn

If you haven’t picked up these books yet, you are missing out. Seriously, her books give me all the feels with her alpha males and danger! Swoon!

    • Lady Midnight takes place after the end of the mortal instruments so some of the events from MI are referenced. So, if you don’t mind the spoilers of knowing how MI ends, it really isn’t necessary. Lady Midnight gives you the 411 you need to understand

  1. oh you have some good ones listed here. I am so glad Nick was able to get you hooked on Lisa Kleypas because she is amazing. Have you read her backlist yet? I am super excited to Devil In Spring though. Should be a whopper.

And Yeah I love Cora Cormack as well, I was curious why I hadn’t seen anything from her lately.

  2. Very nice list. My top four that will go to the top and be read asap are Silence Fallen (Mercy Thompson #10) by Patricia Briggs, White Hot (Hidden Legacy #2) by Ilona Andrews, Into the Fire (Night Prince #4) by Jeaniene Frost & Silver Silence (Psy-Changeling Trinity #1) by Nalini Singh.

  3. I still need to read Chase’s book (Royally Screwed)! I put it on my Christmas list but my family and friends didn’t buy me one book this year. LoL So, I am going to have to buy it. I loved her other book, Sustained, and I still need to read the other books in the series for that. Cora’s an author that I enjoy as well. There are just so many good books coming out this year!

    • I loved the Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare, but I wasn’t sure I would read the Dark Artifices. I’m SO GLAD I did. You MUST read Cora Carmack’s Rusk University series. SO GOOD!!! And The Eagle Elite series by RVD is my favorite of hers!

      • Jen

That’s always such a good feeling when you end up loving a book you were unsure about, yay! And I was going to start with Cora Carmack’s Rusk University series first! It sounds like so much fun!
