Ok, y’all know I love a love-at-first-sight trope. I think thats why I like paranormal romance. The whole ‘mate’ thing is hot! So, that being said, I actually liked these characters too. Janna is so broken by the time she gets to Garrett you can’t help but love her. She even takes in two wayward kids under her wing. Garrett is a hot alpha too; he managed to avoid the alpha a-hole trap as well which is a nice bonus! I am really eager to see how this series goes; there were a LOT of questions I still have! The book is really engaging and you start off right in the action which I appreciate! I want to be hooked in the first chapter and Teresa Gabelman did that for me!

Well, this book is really more of a novella. Novellas don’t bother me except when I feel like I wanted MORE from the story. I had so many questions that weren’t answered. I know this is planned to be a series, so I am hoping those answers will be forthcoming!

Teresa Gabelman is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of the ‘Protectors Series’. When not writing about sexy alpha vampires and the women who drive them crazy she can be found on a lake with a fishing pole/Kindle, at a MMA event or spending a fun evening with family.

Being a full-time writer has allowed Teresa to connect more with readers which is what she loves most about writing. If you find the time she would love to hear from you!3

  1. Thank you so much for the review! And I promise to do my best to answer questions in the next book which will be much longer. 🙂 Hugs!
