Books I’d Take to a Desert Island

So I was watching The Office (for the millionth time) and there is an episode where they play “Books on a desert island” and I decided to take on the challenge. I can’t remember if it’s 3 books or 5, so I split the middle! There is a 0% chance I would survive on a desert island, but I would want to be surrounded by these books while I waited for rescue or death!

The Princess Bride

This book is just my favorite. Seriously, it’s so wonderful! I could reread it a million times.

Slave to Sensation

I will always love Sascha and Lucas the most so I would take Slave to Sensation for sure. I would also want Shield of Winter by Vasic and Ivy Jane are LIFE.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

To me, this is the best book in the series because it really starts to get serious. I loved the addition of the other magical schools, and there is a lot of character development happening.

My Commander by Alanea Alder

This book is just so funny! I figure I will need a good laugh on the island.

  1. Love your book choices. I totally agree about Slave to Sensation, that would be a great book to escape with, but I’d rather bring the whole series. It’s one series which is almost like one book right? I actually like the third Harry Potter book best, Goblet of Fire was great but long, it did really develop the overall storyline though. The third one was when the trio seemed to come into their own and their personality came out more.
