He is Creed part 1 was giving me all the Shadow Riders vibes! Creed was a soldier, but then he was more than just that. After a “vaccine” that was really an experiment, he gets superpowers. Love it!
Addie, the heroine is the daughter of the man responsible for the experiment, and she has come to Area 51 to learn about the windwalkers. This is just part one of the story, so it is really world building and introducing characters. Its a cliffy, so if that bothers you, you might want to wait. I enjoyed the story and certainly plan to continue because I need answers!!
