I finished the audiobook “They Can’t Kill Us All” by Wesley Lowery. It was a very interesting perspective on young activism in a post Michael Brown world. The author is a journalist, where he has to present balanced reporting, but he is also a Black man, and he really connects with the people he meets.
I’m reading the Silent Wife by Karin Slaughter. So far, its good! Pretty gory though, so if that isn’t your thing, avoid this one. I’m listening to Just Mercy by Bryan Stephenson and its heartbreaking! Stephenson is a hero for the work he does and I hate that we live in a world where we need more like him.
Next up is Lethal Edge by Kaylea Cross! I’m excited for this romantic suspense read by one of my go to authors!
Ooh, looks like you’re reading some heavy stuff. I’d love to read your thoughts on all of these books! Happy reading, Sam!
Hope these are all good ones! I just finished The Fell of Dark by Caleb Roehrig, which was good, and I’m finally reading Nevermoor which is so awesome!!
