Goodreads
Ariel Kimber is a seventeen year old girl who has recently discovered she is no ordinary girl.
She's a witch and she's got magic.
Her world is turned upside down with this discovery and the recent death of a parent. She struggles to learn the way of the world of magic while mourning for her hideous mother and trying to find her place amongst her coven. It's not easy being the only girl with seven guys and she works hard to get to know them all because they are her coven, whether she likes it or not.
This is the second book in a series. It's Reverse Harem and slow burn. Contains subject matter that may cause triggers.
I love reverse harem and gobbled up Brothers of the Flame pretty quickly! I’m not sold on all the guys yet, but there are a few I like and the heroine is interesting enough so far. I’m not sure I love Ariel yet, but she has potential and she isn’t one I classify as ‘too stupid to live’.
Love Potion seemed so short! The story certainly progresses. You see more interactions with the guys, Dash especially. I am starting to really like him. Still not sure I like Quinton. He is seriously pushy and demanding. Its not a hot, alpha way either. Its like a creepy, sexual assault way.
But, Dash, Ty, Abel, Addison, and Julian are all pretty likable. Damien is still a wild card in my book. I think he has potential.
Now, Ariel’s magic is still developing and I wish there was more time spent on her abilities. I am curious to see how the author will develop this. And I am really curious to get more info about her father!!! Learning more about Ariel’s background was probably my favorite part of the story!

The Ghost Bird Series by CL Stone, Finding my Pack by Lane Whitt, The Veil Diaries series by BL Brunnemer…then you will probably like Love Potion!
Lovely review. I am glad to see that you are slowly being won over by Ariel, and getting more information on her character can definitely add a more in-depth experience.
