Spring break is over! It was really nice to have some time off. I relaxed, played video games, and spent 3 hours at the vet with Luna. She is a tree climber, and she broke her dew claw. We cleaned it and wrapped it in some gauze to keep her from licking it, but after a few days, we knew she was going to have to go to the vet. It was red and swollen and it clearly hurt her. Turns out the vet had to pull the nail completely. Poor Luna!! They gave her a sedative, but it was still just horrible to hear her cry. But, now she is totally fine and it doesn’t hurt her any more. She has pain pills and an antibiotic. Plus, the vet put her on Zyrtec to see if it will help her allergies. She is a paw licker.

I got a fancy air purifier in hopes it will help with my allergies. It’s spring in Ohio, so the mud is ever present, so every time the dogs go out, they bring back a pound of dirt each. It’s brutal. Wish me luck!

I got a few books read this week. I have been enjoying reading whatever I want. I find that I’m back to reading more because its 100% mood and vibes.

I rewatched all of season 2 of the Pitt now that we are getting close to the end of the season. I just love the show so much. Although, Robby is kind of a jerk this season-yelling at Mohan, Dana, and getting worked up over everything. It’s weird and unlike him.

Happy Easter to those who celebrate!

So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!

  1. I hope they can find something effective for your pup’s allergies. It was rough when my dog’s allergies emerged after living a year in Florida. Glad to hear you had a nice and relaxing break
