Carnival Cold Case blends crime tv shows into a compelling novel. Cults, murder, and a new body that has a very similar pattern to an old cold case. Part police procedural, part romantic story, the result is a compelling read.

This isn’t a romance focused story, so its important to know that going in. Its a quick read that is fast paced. Who is the killer? Why? How were they not caught before? Are they planning to kill again? Campbell and Stephanie’s relationship blooms during the investigation, which adds a layer of strain for sure. Overall, this was an intriguing mystery with a romantic element that was satisfying.
