We got snow on Tuesday and I got a snow day for my birthday! It was great. But, its not like the timelines and due dates at work change, so a snow day puts everyone behind. Its a hassle sometimes. We had to reschedule an IEP meeting and push back our benchmark test, which just means everything got busy. Next week I have 5 evaluation meetings! Plus kids I need to test before the holiday break. I will certainly be busy.

Wednesday I had a doctors appointment, so that was another day I was off work. My bloodwork came back out of wack for a few things, and she was alarmed and wanted to redo it. So, new blood work. Otherwise, she didn’t change anything medication wise. The bloodwork came back the next day and was normal, so it must have been a random issue.

The rest of the week was typical. Luna’s new shirts arrived. She gets very mad without her clothes on. So, we have to have lots of shirts in case they get wet or dirty.

So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!

  1. Well the breaks are fun even if they jam everything up on work days following. It helps if you can work on paperwork stuff even if you are home I’d think but maybe you don’t take them home. We may have some snow tomorrow but we have 50s the days afterward, and some the next week. We seem to be swinging between 50s or 30s.

Please post a picture of Luna in her new shirt. I must see this. I just checked your IG and it’s all books. *sad face* It stinks that you had to do your bloodwork twice, but it’s good it came back normal the second time.

  3. Glad the second round of bloodwork came back okay! We had a snow day too, and because of issues in the district earlier in the year with one school out for a gas leak for 2 weeks of online learning for them, the whole district doesn’t get any snow days that don’t have to be made up. So luckily I guess we can take a half day for students and turn it into a full day in March I think to make up for it. Hope you had a good week, sorry I’m so late getting back to return the visit!
