So, it seems I am on a hit or miss schedule with Sunday post! Sometimes I just forget about it because I’m so busy doing work on Saturday! So, here were are this week! Work is still super busy. It will likely be busy until the end of the year. I have 39 evaluations to complete before the end of May. That is a lot. We have 9 weeks left, so thats at least 4 per week. Including testing, gathering information, observations, and report writing, an evaluation takes me about 15 hours each.

Otherwise things are good. The weather has been nuts here. It was in the 70’s last week, then this rainstorm came, dumped a bunch of dirt with the rain, and the temperature dropped into the 20’s. This week we are suppose to get back into the 70’s, but rain every day. That means mud that the dogs will bring in. I feel like we finally got the dirt off everything just for it to happen again. But, this is the price you pay for having dogs who love being outside in the rain and mud.

I’ve been rewatching The Office (the superfan episodes on Peacock). I find such comfort in rewatching beloved shows. Seriously. I have been rewatching The Big Bang Theory at night before bed for YEARS. This is at least my 4th time through all The Office episodes.

So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!

  1. It sounds like you have a very busy year ahead. I hope you’re able to find some time amidst all the evaluations to relax and breathe.
We also have had the same weather here and it’s been annoying because I do not know how to dress for it. But aww, your dogs! <3
I hope you have a fantastic week ahead!

  2. Well there’s a reason to love the fact Lulu hates rain and mud. She’s never dirty. But that plays in to her desire to be a lap dog. She’s no dummy. Those 4 evals a week at 15 hours is 60 hour weeks wow. Do you have a spring break coming up at least? At least you have some reading and tv for relaxation.

  3. The weather’s been weird here as well but erring on the record hot for this time of year side which makes me scared to face another long summer, since this (‘weird weather’) is how it will be trending goinf forward. I’m not a big re-watcher but per my Sunday Post, I did go to the movies twice to see a movie (Bob Marley: One Love) and that’s twice for the year since I also had a repeat viewing of The Color Purple. I think I’ve only done this once or twice before, last time with Black Panther (the first one).

  4. Good luck getting through your evaluations. We’ve had a mix of snow and rain with this monster storm here. It’s supposed to rain until Thursday. I re-watch The Office and The Big Bang Theory too. They’re my comforting go-to’s when I just want some fun, light watching. Have a great week!

  5. Sounds like the rest of the school year is going to be plenty busy. Hope you manage to find some down time here and there for yourself. That’s some crazy weather in your area. I think FL has already decided that winter is long gone and its moving right along to spring. It was in the mid-70’s all last week. Guess I put away all my sweaters now!

  6. That weather must make it hard! The temperature swings and the sudden cold snaps would have me tearing my hair out… You have a lot of work ahead of you – glad you have got a plan to get it done by the end of the year. Have a good week:)
