Happy birthday to my mother! She is one of the reasons I have always been a reader.
Work was still overwhelming. So overwhelming. Friday I had a breakdown in my office. Just cried. For like an hour. Hopefully this week will be better. I like the people at the school I’m at now, but it is just so much work. Too much for 1 person really. Plus I kind of butted heads with one of the admin this past week. I can have very strong feelings about certain things, and this situation was one of those hills I am willing to die on.
Thankfully it didn’t rain at all this week!!! My yard is now mostly dry and the dogs aren’t totally mud covered every time they come in. This has been a huge relief. Thankfully, we aren’t suppose to get any rain again until next weekend.
I’m so glad January is over. Why is that month 2 million days long?? The sun is out today and I didn’t realize how much I needed to see some sun!
So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!
I’m sorry there is so much work. I had my own stresses this week but that is over. yes I still have things to do but with progress I feel better. We have rain predicted often which doesn’t happen or rather is just for a few hours. I’m more used to all day rain I guess. It rarely does that here in NC. Hopefully, this week will bring you relaxing breaks and sunshine!
I am sorry work has been so hard Samantha! Sending hugs!
We had sun for the first time in literally weeks today and it was SO nice. And happy b-dat to your mom!
I’m sorry it was such a difficult week for you, I hope things are better this coming week
Wishing you a happy reading week
