Nothin’ planned!

eARC thanks to the publishers and authors:

Only 2 more weeks of school. It will be a miracle if everyone survives. Thursday, we had an 8th grader pee on someone’s stuff, in a classroom. That was a new one for me. Then there are the usual near fights and fights, threats to kill someone, and a 2nd grader who called in a bomb threat. So, yeah, these next two weeks are gonna be rocky.
Nothing else eventful happened this week-its hard to top peeing in a classroom and 2nd graders making bomb threats. However, I did learn they hired someone to take the full time opening at the high school so I won’t have to be there next year. I’m very excited about that! I’m not fond of the way the HS does things and being there has been unpleasant and stressful. Oddly, I just prefer the middle school (even with the peeing).
So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!

I get preferring middle school, I wish I could find a middle school library job! I have 2 more weeks of school, then I have 5 extra days after the teachers and students are done. But wow for the craziness you’re dealing with! Glad they found someone to take over at the high school for you. I have enjoyed Max Monroe in the past and need to read some of their new ones. Hope your next two weeks go smoothly1
We had a kid pee in a bottle and give it to a kid to drink. When they were requiring sign in to use the bathrooms, they pooped in the stairwells. The fires in the bathrooms were great. Got to spend lots of time outside in the cold. Good times. With all that, I am happy you only have to endure two more weeks. Sounds like everyone has had enough. I am happy to hear you will not have to endure the high school.
Hang in there! The next 2 weeks may be crazy but then you will have a nice break for summer. And next year you won’t have to go to the high school, that’s awesome.
OMG Samantha what a week! Peeing on someone’s things, really?
