Sweet Spot is just so sweet!! I’ve read a few of the other books in the Valley University world and enjoyed them; Sweet Spot was no different!
Lincoln is running an athlete improvement type company. He has expanded to cover all sports, bringing on friends and other talent. He is the golf pro, and goes to Valley U to give a clinic to the college men’s golf team there. While there, he sees Keira practicing and is blown away by her talent.
Keira is a little prickly. She has a chip on her shoulder because she is good, but her coach is a jerk. So, she kind of assumes Lincoln is like her coach and is rude to him when he offers some advice. She later learns she was rude to the one person who could help her and has to convince him! Lincoln is a bit flat to me. He’s young (30), but feels old because his job is very busy. I liked him as a character but I felt like he wasn’t as well developed as I would have liked. You have a bit of taboo here because he does become a “coach” to her, and there is the age difference (he’s 30, she is in her early 20s). You also have 2 characters with a competitive nature, which I think made things more fun.
Sweet Spot is cute and light-the angst is very low! If you want a read that will having you smiling, and leave you with a warm fuzzy feeling, this is perfect! Its a wonderful distraction from all that is going on!

The Chase by Elle Kennedy, Teacher I want to Date by Mia Kayla, Just a Boyfriend by Sariah Wilson…then you will probably like Sweet Spot!
I love age-gap romances! But flat characters don’t do it for me.
