He lives in secret service to the Crown—a man of duty, deception, and an undeniable attraction to a woman who threatens to tear his whole world apart.

They call him the Devil of Dorset. He stands alone, a man of undeniable power. Moving in and out of shadows, back alleys and ballrooms, he is unstoppable and one of the Crown’s most dangerous weapons. However, when he sets his sights on the undeniably beautiful Countess of Mont Claire, Francesca Cavendish, he doesn’t realize that he has met a match like no other.

TRUE LOVE WEARS NO DISGUISE

Francesca is a countess by day and stalks her prey—those responsible for the death of her family—by night. What she does not expect is to be thrown into the path of the devil himself, the Earl of Devlin. She has secrets of her own and he seems determined to lay them bare. Can her heart survive finding the love of her life and losing him when all is revealed?

The Devil in Her Bed is the final installment of the Red Rogues and it was amazing! Francesca is badass and Chandler is the perfect match for her.

Like Alexandra and Cecilia, Francesca had had traumatic childhood event that changed who she was. Her life from that point onward was about nothing except revenge. She has been working for years to determine who was responsible for the death of her family and she is finally close. Now that she has identified those in charge of the Crimson Council, things are getting very dangerous. Little does she know another person is out for the same vengeance.

I thought Francesca and Chandler were a great pair for one another. Both went through the same traumatic event and are seeking the same revenge. Chandler is a bit heavy handed with Francesca which was annoying. However, Francesca holds her own against him. When her secret is finally revealed, I was hoping Chandler wouldn’t be such an ass. I was then hoping he would make a grand gesture to win her back. I was disappointed. But, this was the only disappointing thing about the story!

Fans of historical romance with non-traditional leading ladies will enjoy The Devil in Her Bed for sure!
