The Hollow of Fear is book 3 in Lady Sherlock series and continues the previous books, so you should read them in order! Now, we have a murder at Stone Hollow (Lord Ingram’s country home) and Lord Ingram is the prime suspect. Charlotte must help and everything is on the line. This requires her to be extra deceptive, even to the reader! Honestly, I didn’t see the book taking the turns it did. Brilliant! There is some forward movement in the Charlotte-Ingram affair, but I need more. These two are just killing me!
I loved getting more of Livia and Mr. Marbleton, and seeing Charlotte really stretch her skills with “Mr. Sherringford Holmes”. The plot is exceptionally well written and peeled back slowly. This series just gets better and better! This book was a wild ride that delivered everything I love about this series. Again, the audio is fantastic!
authors like Deanna Raybourn, Kerrigan Bryne…then you will probably like The Hollow of Fear!
Charlotte and Ash are delicious. It’s such a hot burn but slow progress.
