Twenty-five thousand dollars to let some entitled, rich guy boss me around for a month?
Sign. Me. Up.
Most days, I did that for free and called it being female.
But it turns out the rumors circulating campus are true.
A secret society wants to pay me for their privilege.Life has thrown me nothing but lemons since I lost my father.
Crippling student loans. Unpaid medical bills. Overdue rent.
Enter The Quest, the solution to all my problems. To win it, I have to become a Maiden,
Navigate a snake pit of secrets and betrayal,
And fight to resist temptation, all for the chance at a fresh start.Submitting to D’Arthur University’s brotherhood of Knights won’t be an easy feat.
Camelot Court’s most notorious members will test my honor and my limits.
But to the victor goes the spoils…And The Quest is one game I can’t afford to lose.

The King’s Maiden is first in a four-book series and ends on a cliffhanger. The series will conclude with resolution and a form of happiness for the characters. This is a Why Choose romance, which means the FMC will end up with more than one love interest. If tensions rise high enough, swords may cross in future books or bonus material. Anything is possible when the ultimate prize is to love without limits.
The King’s Maiden is a twist on the Arthurian legend of Camelot. When I saw “Reverse Harem Camelot” I couldn’t sign up fast enough! Seriously-this is a story I need in my life!
Our heroine, Quinn, is broke-financially, medically, and emotionally. Life has been tough for her lately with the death of her parents, her increasing problematic asthma, and her bank balance being next to nothing. She hears about “The Quest” on campus-win and you get $25,000. Initially, she is totally against it, but desperate times and all. She is paired with a “knight”-Landon Scott (get it-Lancelot), who has some serious baggage of his own. Quinn isn’t sure she can deal with toxic mean girls, the expectations of the “Knights”, and struggles with her own shame. She wants to win because she is competitive and needs the money, but the Quest really breaks her down at times. None of it is physically demanding, just mentally exhausting. But, she gets closer to Landon and Kingston D’Arthur (The King), and then there is Max Dread.
The ending is a surprise for sure and I am very excited for the next book in the series!
