The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden by Jessica Sorenson
Sorenson writes super angsty YA/NA and The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden was my intro to her writing. These two were from seriously messed up families and dealing with some seriously messed up stuff! Its a 3 book series, so be prepared for a trilogy!

Fallen Too Far by Abbi Glines
Glines Rosemary Beach series is an angst lovers paradise! This YA/NA story is another multi book story so be prepared. There are unsupervised teens, rich and distant parents, and a baby surprise!

Beautiful Disaster
This book was my intro into the NA genre and the angst that is so common. Abby and Travis are….GAH! Seriously, these two will give you all the feels-happy and sad!

Ten Tiny Breaths by KA Tucker
This was my first Tucker book and what a doozie! If you like plot twists, Ten Tiny Breaths will really give it to you! There is some serious heartbreak. Bring tissues!

Driven by K. Bromberg
Colton had the crappiest upbringing ever and it has turned him into a VERY moody adult! If you read my review, you will know I am NOT a fan of Colton. But, if you want angsty and emo….Colton delivers!

The Boy Who Sneaks in My Bedroom Window by Kirsty Moseley
When I initially read this book, I had no idea what I was in for. I thought it would be a cute love story about a girl and her brother’s friend. HOLY MOLY was I wrong! The drama and angst is strong with this one!

    • I always say I hate angsty books but this list was surprising easy to make. I think I just hate the unnecessary angst-like miscommunication or immaturity. Jay Maclean is another angsty one!

  1. There are times when I crave something lighter and easier but usually I’m all about the angst. LOL Love Abbi Glines Rosemary Beach series. It’s like my crack. And Ten Tiny Breaths is still one of my faves by Tucker. I probably own a dozen or more books by Sorenson…. and still haven’t read a single one!
