Books That Make Me Smile!

There are some book that, when I see them on my shelf, I smile unconsciously. They just bring me delight for one reason or another. I want to share them with everyone!

Anniversary Edition of The Princess Bride

I loved the movie as a kid, and when I found the book, I was elated. It remains one of my favorite books of all time and seeing the beautiful anniversary edition, I smile.

Slave to Sensation by Nalini Singh

This book kicked off my binge of a series that I love more than I thought possible! Slave to Sensation will be my favorite because it was the beginning. I have fond memories of the summer I binged Psy-Changeling!

Whitney My Love by Judith McNaught

I read this early on in my discovery of romance and it has always held a wistful piece of my heart. Just a wonderful story.

The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang

As a special education teacher, I love positive representation for those with different abilities. This story made me think of my ASD students from years past and my hope that they are living such a wonderful life.

What books have brought a smile to your face?

  1. Hoang’s books were definite smile books for me. I have never read The Princess Bride, but the movie was a big part of my teen years (and I know all the lines)
