Earlier this year, I pledged to be more conscious about the authors I read and to look for more BIPOC authors. So, here are the BIPOC authors I read this year:

- Farrah Rochon- The Boyfriend Project
- Brittainy Cherry- The Wreckage of Us
- Sarah Smith- Simmer Down
- Alexa Martin- Snapped
- Alyssa Cole- When No One is Watching
- Bryan Stevenson- Just Mercy (This book is AMAZING)
I had hoped to get more books by BIPOC authors, but 2020 was just…ugh. I didn’t get as many books read as I had planned period. These are the books/authors I’m hoping to read in 2021:

- Naimi Simone
- Talia Hebbert

I’ve also read Alyssa Cole, and Nalini Singh. I have enjoyed Talia Hibbert too. I have The Boyfriend Project checked out from the library right now but haven’t read it yet.
