Oh 2020, you screwed up so many things. One of those things was my reading mojo. I found long stretches of time where nothing sounds good. I barely read 100 books this year. So, in hopes that 2021 is better, here are some books I put on my TBR in 2020 that I hope to read in 2021:
- In For a Penny by Melissa Foster
- Hidden by Laura Griffin
- A Forgotten Murder by Jude Deveraux
- Her Deadly Secrets by Laura Griffin
- 50/50 by Steve Cavanaugh
- How to Love Your Elf by Kerrelyn Sparks
I also hoped to make a bigger dent in my TBR. But…2020.
What books did you wish you had gotten to read in 2020? Share in the comments!
I hope you enjoy all of those books. That gif of throwing 2020 away made me laugh out loud.
My post.
I think just getting through 2020 alive is a major accomplishment! You can hit the reading hard in 2021 🙂 Good luck with finding your mojo and enjoying all the books on your TBR.
Happy TTT!

2020 threw my reading off too, but in just in terms of what I read, not how much. I had to stick with lighter reads this year. Reality was plenty dark and heavy enough for me. I hope you’re able to read as much as you’d like next year! Happy holidays!
I had a lot of reading slumps and didn’t get to books I planned to read in 2020… A few I haven’t but plan to read or listen too: The Princess Knight (The Scarred Earth Saga, #2) by G.A. Aiken, Booked for Murder (Vigilante Magical Librarians, #1) by R.J. Blain, Smoke Bitten (Mercy Thompson, #12) by Patricia Briggs, Alpha Night (Psy-Changeling Trinity #4) by Nalini Singh & Archangel’s Sun (Guild Hunter #13) by Nalini Singh.
I hope you enjoy them all! I also hoped to read more this year, but . . . nope.
I read a ton of books and it’s never enough. I have a very long list of others I wanted to read in 2020.
