Goodreads
Unswerving: Angus Force is determined to hunt down the serial killer he’d once shot dead—or so he thought. But an anonymous source reports that Lassiter is alive. Force hasn't slept since, knowing it’s only a matter of time before “the Surgeon” strikes again. And soon, a body is found, bearing Lassiter’s same maniacal MO. It’s just the beginning of a murderous trail blazing through DC and Virginia, right to Force’s backyard . . .
Unstoppable: Nari Zhang is the shrink for the ragtag Deep Ops Unit, though she isn’t Force’s shrink—which is a very good thing. Because once they’re thrown together on the case, their attraction is explosive and irresistible. They’ll just have to fight that much harder to keep the heat between them from flaming out of control. But things are about to become far more challenging, and deadly, than they could have imagined . . .
Unhinged: Once the killer catches a glimpse of Nari, she becomes his new obsession. She is now the focus point—for both Force and Lassiter—in a dangerous dance for survival . . .
Driven finally delivers the story of Angus and Nari-whose sexual tension has been keeping readers on edge for a while now! But, there is also a not dead serial killer who wants Nari as well.
Nari is a psycholgist who works with the deep ops team of ne’er do wells. Angus is obsessed with getting Lassiter, so when he finds out he didn’t kill him, he is back on the hunt. Nari has been a favorite of mine throughout the series because she is so steady and unflinching. She is the calm in the storm that is Deep Ops. I really wanted to know how she ended up working for Deep ops-the rest of the team is flunkies, criminals, and disgraced men/women and she doesn’t seem to fit. In Driven we finally learn Nari’s secrets and I loved it!
Angus is the quintessential tortured hero. He wanted Lassiter dead as revenge for his sister’s murder. His pain was too heavy and he drank to deal with it all. However, now that he has confirmation that Lassiter is alive and he isn’t crazy, he is on a mission. Both he and Nari were fierce!
Driven wraps up the Deep Ops series nicely and readers will delight in the glimpses into the team featured before. The suspense is engaging, the romance is hot, and I just loved Driven! Also, while I didn’t listen to this one on audio, I have listened to a few previous ones via audio and they are GREAT! If you are an audiobook lover, I highly recommend it!

Pretend You’re Safe by Alexandra Ivy, Taken by Cynthia Eden, Resurrection by Katie Reus…then you will probably like Driven!

I enjoyed this one also. There was a lot of action but I felt like it was more reactive than proactive.
I have read the first book and really got a kick out of it, I can’t wait to catch up on the series. Zanetti definitely knows how to blend suspense with romance so perfectly.
Lovely review.
