#ForeverSummerReading with Mia Sheridan!

No one lays open the heart and soul quite like New York Times bestselling author Mia Sheridan in this new standalone contemporary romance.
The moment she met Callen Hayes, eleven-year-old Jessica Creswell knew he was a broken prince. Her prince. They became each other’s refuge, a safe and magical place far from their troubled lives. Until the day Callen kissed herJessica’s first real, dreamy kissand then disappeared from her life without a word.
Years later, everyone knows who Callen Hayes is. Famous composer. Infamous bad boy. What no one knows is that Callen’s music is now locked deep inside, trapped behind his own inner demons. It’s only when he withdraws to France to drink his way through the darkness that Callen stumbles into the one person who makes the music return. Jessica. His Jessie. And she still tastes of fresh, sweet innocence . . . even as she sets his blood on fire.
But they don’t belong in each other’s worlds anymore. There are too many mistakes. Too many secrets. Too many lies. All they have is that instinctive longing, that needand something that looks dangerously like love.
“5 Star Gold! Inspiring, uplifting, and raw in [its] intensity.”

Mia’s top summer reads recommendations:

We have a pool in our backyard and during the summer, I spend a lot of time sitting outside and watching the kids swim. It’s also a great time to get some reading in! (Though I’m often interrupted with, “Mom! Watch this!” Inevitably, it’s something I’ve seen them do a million times, but I try to remember that my applause might not always mean as much to them later as it does now and so I gladly clap for their pool jumping achievements).

Here are a few titles I’ve read recently that I highly recommend!

1.) Getaway Girl by Tessa Bailey– Tessa writes smart, sexy, addictive romance and once you start reading her, you’ll want to binge-read everything she’s written! Perfect beach/pool reads!

2.) Arrogant Devil by R.S. Grey– I finished this sweet, funny, heartwarming romance by R.S. Grey recently and highly recommend it! Another perfect beach/pool read!

3.) Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine, by Gail Honeyman– I read this for a book club I’m in and loved it! It has one of the weirdest, funniest, most deadpan heroines I’ve ever read and I enjoyed every minute of her honest wit. Bonus: It’s being made into a movie, produced by Reese Witherspoon!

4.) Fighting Irish by Katy Regnery– This is the first in a series about Irish triplets! Um, yes please! Tender, swoony, with relatable characters and yeah, men with Irish brogues. Sound like the perfect combination? It is!

5.) I Am Watching You by Teresa Driscoll– Another book club read and one I thoroughly enjoyed! Gripping, suspenseful, and with an ending that totally took me by surprise.

Have you read any of these? What are your top summer recommended reads?
