It’s Just Business is a revenge, boss/employee romance that has the signature Winters/Landish steam!! Raven is looking for a job on Wall Street and Dylan is a major player. When Dylan realizes that Raven’s ex is his nemesis, a revenge plot emerges.
I loved Raven-she is brilliant and kind. However, she has the WORST taste in men. Evan has been holding her back and she didn’t even see it. Dylan doesn’t want to hire her, but agrees to introduce her to people to help her get her foot in the door. As long as she agrees to be his date to a function at Evan’s family event. Everyone around her uses her. It was frustrating. But, you can see pretty quickly that Dylan has feelings, and when he ruins her chances at securing a good job, he hires her. She is mindful that the appearance of impropriety impacts her significantly more than it does Dylan, even though he kind of forgets that. Overall, I loved the story!
