Love Unleashed is a short, cutesy romance between a firefighter and a teacher. While I found the story a bit cheesy overall, it is sweet and enjoyable.

The plot is predictable for sure, but this isn’t a romantic suspense book, so predictability isn’t really a problem. Jessica, an adorable kindergarten teacher, swoons hard for the hottie fireman, Louie. Louie falls hard for Jessica too and switches shifts so he can put on a fire safety demo at the school where Jessica teaches. Romance ensues. Both of them have a sad past and not sharing that past is what creates the tension of the story. Overall, not my favorite trope because it always seems immature. Throw in the Dalmatian puppy wandering around the playground, and you have the trifecta of cute animal, hot guy, and sweet girl!
