5 Star Reads: Top Ten Tuesday
Another Tuesday=another Top Ten post! So, this week’s theme? My recent 5 star reads! This is a great chance to reflect back on 2016 so far and see what books I have loved!
Sweet Love by KC Lynn
I love everything this woman writes. Seriously, she is one of those authors I don’t even need to read the synopsis. I am gonna love it.
Soaked by Stacy Kestwick
Stacy Kestwick has only written 2 books but they are 2 of my favorites. She has the best characters. Sadie and West are amazing! And Soaked-super swoony!!
Luck is no Lady by Amy Sandas
I have recently decided to give HR another shot and this book was a perfect fit. I loved the way the characters accepted that they had to play by societies rules but still did so by staying true to themselves.
Soulless by TM Frazier
Oh, evil ginger…Her books will GUT you. I mean seriously gut you! You will stay up all night finishing the book because once you start, you can’t stop.
Legend by Katy Evans
Its Katy freaking Evans- do I need to explain this one?? (Legend is my favorite book of hers BTW!)
Rock Hard by Nalini Singh
This was my first Nalini Singh book and I devoured it in one sitting. That woman knows how to suck you in!
Jockblocked by Jen Frederick
Its no secret I love me some sports hotties. Jen managed to make me fall hard for these characters. Matty is pure perfection and is the ruler I measure all other book boyfriends by.
Appealed by Emma Chase
Gah! I fan girled about this book for WEEKS after I finished it. I seriously loved this book so much I couldn’t stop thinking about it. When people ask me for a recommendation, THIS is the book I tell them to read.
The Rogue not Taken by Sarah Maclean
My first HR book in many years and I picked a great one to start with! Sarah’s writing style totally worked for me and I love the way her story unfolded! The characters were perfect-funny, serious, hot. Its perfect!
Fighting Solitude by Aly Martinez
No one does angst quite like Aly Martinez. It never feels over done and that is a tough feat to pull off. And this book, wow. She managed to make a love story between 2 people work after the death of the he heroes girlfriend!
So, have you read these?? Because if not, you totally need to add them to your TBR!!! Tell me, what are your recent 5 star reads that I need to know about? Follow the other Top Ten posts over at The Broke and the Bookish!
Argh. I still need to read The Rogue Not Taken. I don’t read much from that genre but Sarah MacLean is one of the authors I do read! My TTT
I have only really started to dip my toe into HR again and someone assured me I would love Sarah Maclean. They were not wrong!!
I’m planning on taking a break from speculative fiction and read some romance in the summer [summer is about heat right 🙂 ] So I’m be reading King and Lawless [and the rest in the series because I HAVE to read Soulless! ] Thanks for sharing this great list Sam
King/Tyrant/Lawless/Soulless are all crazy good!! Anti-heroes, murder, violence-its crazy! I loved it though!
Sweet Love looks os cute and like a book I would love! I also love Emma Chase, so that’s exciting to see her on your list! Looks like lots of great romances, which I love!
Here’s my Top Ten!
Sweet Love is cute but you have to read Sweet Temptation first. And have tissues ready! Appealed is the only Emma Chase book I have read but I was so in love!
Great List! I haven’t actually read of these but they look perfect for a summer read, which one would you recommend first?
Oh thats tough! A lot of these are part of a series but I would say read Appealed!! I am so obsessed with that book and even though its book 3, its a stand alone. Emma Chase’s writing is just witty and humorous while not being over the top! I have already reread that book a couple of times!
I have been wanting to read a book by Emma Chase! Tangled, by Emma Chase, looks like a lot of fun too! I think I remember you loving that one also?
Nice list!! I haven’t read any of these, but I will have to check them out. Thanks for stopping by my TTT!!!
Lucky is No Lady attracts me. Thank you for the review.
