Nothin’

I can’t believe it is the end of April! I submitted my portfolio for grad school and now I have to begin preparing for my defense! We are also down to the last few weeks of school/work. My students’ last day is May 25th. We finished state testing this week, so now it is just a race to the finish.

I had a car wash by my house that I loved. I knew what to expect and it was easy. Well, it closed at the end of February. The other one in town is totally out of my way and it is always SO crowded. I never want to wait that long. But oh my gosh does my car need washed. It is a bug graveyard. First world problem for sure. Regardless, I need to find a carwash. It is still a little chilly here, so washing it myself is kind of out of question right now.

My allergies seem a little better this week. I am having some weird problems with my nose/ear connection (the eustachian tube). Sometimes, when I breathe through my nose, it creates pressure and my ear clogs. It is super frustrating. Thankfully, it doesn’t last long.

So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!

  1. You are so near to finishing! I hate it when something I love ends or goes away. Don’t get me started on when I find a good pair of shoes or jeans and then you can never get them again. I’m going through it with the body wash I use in the shower. I had a great $2 a bottle sensitive skin fragrance free kind. When it disappeared in NC, I went to VA and IL to buy a bunch. I still have about 30 bottles but it’s gone from there now also. The possible replacements are all in the $4-7 range. I hope your allergies improve.

  2. Good luck with your thesis! And allergies- ugh. This time of year is the worst. I hope yours doesn’t act up too much. That does sound frustrating…

Hope you have a nice weekend !

  3. Big congrats on getting your portfolio submitted! It’s such a pain when a favorite store/vendor closes down or moves. Especially when the alternatives are less than ideal. Maybe a good rain will come and wash away all the bugs. 🙂

  4. The last rush of the year!!! And I hope your allergies get even better next week Samantha because that seems so annoying!
