Nothin’

eARC thanks to the authors and publishers:

Its back to school/work week!! I struggle with the beginning of the year because I don’t have established routines yet. Because I have OCD and anxiety, establishing routines is necessary. My OCD behavior is skin picking, especially on my hands/fingers. So, right now, I am keeping bandaids on when necessary so I don’t pick so much (I got a really bad infection a couple of years ago). Hopefully after Wednesday I will know more and be able to relax into a new routine. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday are just teacher work days, then Thursday the students start back.
I had my “soft start” of school this week with a couple of meetings, then our county opening day on Wednesday. I think this soft start kind of made my anxiety higher, because it brought up all kinds of questions that are, as of yet, unanswered. But, it is out of my sphere of control, so I am trying to just handle what I can.
The dogs are going to be so sad next week! They have enjoyed their summer lounging around with me and having fun. I hate leaving them. If we had money, I would send them to doggie daycare. Calleigh went when we lived in North Carolina and loved it. It was so helpful for her high energy as well.
So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!

I hope you get your routine established easily. I like routines and systems. I hope the dogs manage to behave, at least they have each other.
Anne – Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post
Best of luck for a successful year. I hope you get your routines established quickly and can alleviate some of that stress.
Yeah, I’m all thinking things are going to be good this year, but until the actual school day starts, I won’t know if things will be okay! I have a bad anxiety habit of picking at one spot on my thumb. So it is a dry bump on my thumb and of course it’s my right hand so I hate shaking hands with people. But I can’t seem to leave it alone half the time either. Hope things get set up in a routine soon for you!
At least the dogs have each other. I have read some of Cannell’s stories and always enjoy them
