It was such a long week! I don’t know why, but it just felt never ending. Wednesday it was 70 degrees here, but then by Friday the high was 30. It’s extreme even for Ohio. I have given up hope on snow days. Its not suppose to get back into the 70’s next week, but it is upper 50’s to low 60’s. Sigh.
At least I have Monday off for President’s day. I’m looking forward to that for sure! I’m hoping to get some work done on my portfolio for my Ed.S. I have been working on a psychoeducational report that is already 17 pages and I’m not done yet. But, other than that assignment, I am on track with all my assignments for my portfolio and pretty soon I will start practicing my defense.
Everyone at work now knows I am leaving and they have been very kind. Several said how much they will miss me and appreciate how comprehensive I am in evaluating their students. That meant a lot to me. Its still awkward but I’m hoping now that it is not new news, it will be less awkward.
For those who enjoyed last week’s Ranger pic, here is another and one of my baby, Calleigh (who is actually getting a bit old).
So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!
Aw, Calleigh is adorable! I’ve had my couple of snow days and will be okay not getting anymore this year, so I’ll send any to you! lol I’m behind on Bromberg books. Her last couple weren’t exactly my first choice in reading, but this new one sounds exactly like what I like from her. Don’t know when I’ll get to it though. I’d been on what I thought was a reader team for her, but then found out I wasn’t and having read much of hers ahead of time since. Hope that you have a great week, and enjoy your day off tomorrow too!
I am happy you got some praise Samantha! It’s time your hard work is recognized! Enjoy your day off tomorrow!
Well it’s all good news. You have an extra day off. You’re on track with assignments. The shock of telling them you are leaving is over. And you have Calleigh to support you – what a sweetie. I like 50-60 too so sounds like a great week!
Good luck with the portfolio and your degree.

That’s some crazy weather! Hope you were able to enjoy the long weekend. And get some work done on your portfolio… and maybe some reading?
I hope that you were able to achieve your goal for the long weekend and were able to have some fun too!
Wishing you a great week of reading.
Awww, look a those pups! So sweet. Good luck with all the school work. I bet you can’t wait until you reach the end. Working full time while doing your degree work cannot be easy. I give you a lot of credit for parting ways with your school. It can be scary doing that, but I am sure your new position will be wonderful.
It’s always nice when you get appreciated at work. I’m glad that it’s turning into a positive experience. Love the dog pictures. I usually like Lexi Blake and Alexandra Ivy and I’m also looking forward to reading Love, Theoretically. Have fun reading this week.
