Well apparently I cannot keep up with a weekly update! Its been a busy 2 weeks with lots of evaluations and meetings and state testing starts later this week. We don’t get spring break until April 14th! Its so late this year. Once we come back we only have 5 weeks of school left. There were some crazy meetings this past week that really pushed my stress levels up. Hopefully the next few are more typical and less high stress.
Its allergy season in Ohio and my sinuses have sounded the alarm. Headaches, stuffy nose, eye crusties. Its miserable. It also triggers my asthma. I never had asthma until last year, but now, if I get my heart rate up while I’m outside, I will cough for an hour straight and my O2 stats drop low enough my watch starts freakin out. Good stuff.
I’ve been rewatching ER and I love it. I’m a huge fan of The Pitt (if you aren’t watching that, you need to!) and wanted to go back to ER (Noah Wyle is in both shows). ER was such a great show and so ahead of its time! They tackle so many topics-early HIV, 3rd world needs, public health, LGBT+, mental health. Just really interesting how ahead of the time they were.
So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!

My daughter doesn’t have a “spring” break until the week of April 28th. I’ve been watching some Tv will cooking and it’s reducing my audiobook time.
Anne – Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post
My daughter alerady had her Spring Break Samantha so yes yours seems late! And sorry for your allergies, that’s the worst in the sunny seasons.
ER was great. I still cry when I hear the ukulele version of Somewhere Over the Rainbow because of that show. Funny, my daughter just marathoned all the seasons of Grey’s Anatomy, and I told her that she should watch ER. Hang in there with the allergies and school overload!
Yikes! I hope things go well for you in regards to the evaluations. I need to watch ER again!
Your spring break is late! That sucks about our allergies! I know my daughter-in-law does allergy shots to help. I hope you feel better.
I recently binge watched ER with my 21 yo daughter, it’s a show that holds up so well that even she was impressed.
Ugh on the allergies, and the stress. Hope both improve.
Wishing you a happy reading week
