Nothin’ (Life has been busy)
Who knows?
eARCs thanks to the authors and publishers:
We had 2 dog escapes this week and one of them was major. The hurricane winds messed up some parts of our fence and we are still trying to find and fix them. The first escape they at least stayed in our neighborhood. The second one, they actually cut through a wooded area and got to a different neighborhood. The biggest issue was the ragweed pollen here is super high and when I walk or run outside with a high pollen count, I have a terrible asthma attack. So, the first escape I was close to them the whole time, but we ended up going about 1/2 a mile at 3:30 pm and I had a bad asthma attack. Then, the escape on Friday, I drove my car over to the section the neighborhood, then got out and chased them a bit, then had to go back to my car and drive to the other neighborhood (it wasn’t connected to ours directly by any road), get out and chase them so more, go back to my car and drive around again, then chase. This went on for 30 minutes until a woman was getting out of her car, walked over to help, and the dogs went straight to her. I’m so thankful for wonderful people. There was a older couple who helped corral them as well. But, after 30 minutes of chasing and driving, I was wheezing pretty bad. On Saturday it was better, but you could still hear the wheezing and I could feel it rattle in my chest. It was also warmer this week (Wednesday-Sunday were in the low 80’s), and that made it all worse.
The appraisal is MONDAY!! So, we have a lot of stuff still to finish this weekend. Its the not best time for me to have an asthma issue, but what can you do. I’m trying to stay indoors as much as possible because just going outside makes me cough excessively. We need this appraisal to go well!
This upcoming will be super busy for me. I have the appraisal on Monday, 7 evaluation meetings at work, and parent teach conference night. Busy only begins to scratch the surface. Hopefully everything goes well this week.
So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!
I hope everything goes well. Hang in there.

Good luck with the appraisal tomorrow Samantha!
Let’s hope the escape artist stays put this week, and may everything go smoothly.
Ugh! How frustrating with the dogs escaping. Hopefully that can get fixed up soon for you. Good luck with the appraisal and getting it all done in time. I have my fingers crossed that it goes the way you want it. I’ve got the How to Help a Hungry Werewolf book too!
