Happy mother’s day to all the moms out there! Hope you have a fantastic day!

I can’t believe it is the middle of May. Only 2 weeks of school left with kids. Its crazy! I have so many evaluations to finish though. I might have over estimated my abilities when I agreed to take on so many before the end of the year. Oh well. It will get done!

Yesterday I hopped online and did practice run throughs of my oral defense with some friends from my grad program. One girl has to give hers next week!! The other girl and I have to give ours on the 26th, so we have 2 weeks.

The new dogs are settling in. The rescue told us they were potty trained and that was not true. I think they were in the crate our outside, so sure, they didn’t potty in the house because they were never allowed to be out in the house. But, we are working on it. Dean has found every gap in our fence as well, so I am working on patching that. Its just an old wire fence, so parts are just missing in some places.

So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!

  1. Yeah, I never think animals are perfectly potty trained when you first get them. But hopefully they will at least be easier to train. I’ve got the new Christina Lauren pre-ordered as an audiobook that I’m hoping to listen to on my drive to Branson in 2 weeks when our school is out too! Of course silly me signed up to do the library clerk job at my school for summer school, extra money for my trip this summer. But ugh, only a month away from work. Oh well, library clerk at a high school should be easy enough and hopefully I can make sure my library doesn’t get messed up since I’m there to keep an eye on it. Have a good week!
