I got nothing!
I hope everyone who celebrates had a happy Thanksgiving!
This week is my last week of the (grad school) trimester and I am going to be super busy. At work, we have 3 weeks left then Christmas break. During Christmas break I will have no grad school stuff to do and I am really looking forward to the break from it all. So, hopefully these 3 weeks will go smoothly. I’m a little worried about a spike in COVID cases when we go back this week. I got my booster on Tuesday at least!
My mom made a ton of food for Thanksgiving so everyone could have plenty of leftovers. It is all my husband and I have eaten since then. It’s super nice not having to think about making food.
I got a very nice new espresso maker for my upcoming birthday! It’s a nespresso vertuo! Its as much a present for my husband as it is me though. So far, we love it!
So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!

Hopefully it is easier for you with having this Thanksgiving break and seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. I am getting worried about COVID spiking after holiday traveling and the new variant. Hang in there for these last couple weeks! I can wish the Christmas spirit so people will treat others with kindness this month.
Anne – Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post
I hope all goes well with the lead up to your break. Sounds like you might be able to recharge during that time. Enjoy your new espresso machine too!
I hope your 3 weeks breeze on by! I get my booster this week , too. Hope we don’t have side effects and don’t feel like crap. Crossing my fingers! 🙂
Life is easier with leftovers. At Christmas my parents do a huge leg of ham and I get to bring hime leftovers that will feed us for a few days.
I hope the new few weeks aren’t too arduous
Wishing you a great reading week
Every person at Thanksgiving took home a plate of leftovers and we *still* had leftovers for several days. Gah! Nice to not have to cook, though. Hang in there till your Christmas break!
