It was a pretty uneventful week. Work is busy as always. I have some pretty terrible carpal tunnel. I woke up in extreme pain one night-like a stabbing pain in the pad of my hand by my thumb. It was awful. Since then, the tip of my thumb has been numb. Its frustrating for sure. I’m hopeful that it will go away in a few more days. I got a brace to sleep in at night (that is when the pain is the worst because I am a stomach sleeper and frequently lay on my hands). So, if anyone has carpal tunnel tips, I am all ears.

No doggie escapes this week. We are making progress in re-house breaking Sammy and Dean, which is nice. They haven’t had an accident in the house in 4 days. Progress!

So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!

  1. I had a while I had to wear a brace at night for the same kind of issue, although I don’t think my doctor ever officially called it carpal tunnel. I hope you get yours to go away soon! I want to read that new Katee Robert book, but haven’t got a copy yet. I want the Barnes and Noble edition I think. Will be watching for your review!

  2. I hope things continue well with the dogs and that you get some relief in your hands. I had something like that in college when I was typing a lot, playing tennis, playing saxophone and piano. My hands arms were worn out. Plus knitting. So sometimes my hands get worn out. But once they are in shape it was fine. Sort of like being out of shape with muscles or cardio and I was fine once I slowly built up.

  3. Sorry to hear your carpel tunnel is acting up. I’ve also been having issues. I think carpel tunnel for wrist, but my tendon for my right ring and pinkie finger have been causing “trigger finger”. I do the exercises, but they don’t really help. Hope yours settle down.
