Non-Bookish News:
School is out for Summer!! I’m free!! Whoohoo! I have a few things to wrap up, and I am giving the ACT test next Saturday, but thats it. I’m psyched and hoping to have restful and relaxing summer.
I have my surgery June 27th so I have a few things to prep before that. I have to get a pre-op physical and schedule post op appointments. My husband is taking the week of my surgery off so he can help which is great. Its about a 6-8 week recovery, so most of my summer will be spent recovering.
The end of the school year also means saying goodbye to coworkers. Several of my coworkers are moving to different schools and I will miss them. One of my closest coworkers is leaving and, while I’m so happy for her, I am truly so sad she won’t be there every day with me. In other jobs, people leave at any time, but in a school everyone leaves at the same time and its tough! We had a nice little gathering to wish everyone well in their future endeavors. Next year, we start all over again with new people.
So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!

Yeah for summer break! I hope you have some fun plans. I didn’t think it would ever get here and now it is already June!
Yay for the end of school! I hope you enjoy the break even with the surgery. You have a good couple weeks before so that is good, you can relax a bit.
I hope you have a great week, Samantha! Happy Reading! xx
I need to check Faker! And awww! It’s sad when coworkers leave, especially when you grow so attached to them.
I hope you do get to relax and enjoy your summer Alice Cooper is screaming in my head. We are trying to get into a good routine now that school’s out, we are back from the vacay to get things ready to move. Have a lovely week! I hope you find some great reads.
Here is my Sunday Post
Ya for summer break. Hope everything goes well for your surgery and recovery. It’s a bummer it takes away from your summer, but that is about the only time to get stuff done other wise you miss school and think it’s harder for teacher to miss. Well have a great week and happy reading!
Hope the surgery goes well. Have a great week!
Hooray for summer break! Too bad much of it will be spent recuperating but I guess the better way to look at it is to be thankful you have that time without taking off work. Hopefully recuperation = lots of reading time 🙂
